Lynx Training Manager, Bob Crowhurst, has quickly put his merit in the National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety to good effect. Bob has completed his first in house IOSH courses for Lynx staff in "Working Safely" and "Managing Safely". As Bob explains, when the HSE have estimated that over 30 million working days are lost each year through accidents and at an estimated total cost of over £10 billion per annum, most companies are now firmly focussed on ensuring that their Health and Safety monitoring systems are up to scratch.
Lynx plan for all supervisory staff to pass the "Working Safely" course and for all Managers to pass the "Managing Safely" programme, which greatly enhance our customers' ability to identify and manage risks to Health and Safety on their premises as well as helping to ensure a safe working environment for all our staff.
